Friend of the Garden

A unique piece of Tegelen, originating in the Middle

Ages. Visited by hussars, knights, and damsels. It used

to be a garden for the wealthy and mayors. Surrounded

by moats and ponds, it's where lemonade was made and

spring water was bottled. Where kingfishers can be

found, and many a bird sings its song in the greenery.

If you care about the garden, become a friend of the garden For €10, you can become a friend of the herb garden. With a little more, we can achieve more. While it's not the main prize, it's something that ensures the preservation of all this beauty. What do we give back? Personal tours of the garden are available by appointment, and selections from the garden's seed and plant collection are available! So become a friend. Ask at the garden about the possibilities. You can also donate. t.n.v.
